The Cleft Registry
The Cleft Registry is a database under construction to follow all
Palestinian children in the West Bank and Gaza who have craniofacial anomalies.
The goal of the database is to allow follow-up on all children with clefts, their medical and surgical
histories and future need for treatment.
Participants in
the creation of the database include personnel from Birzeit University, Al-Najah Medical School and Al-Quds University, as
well as the University of North Carolina.
